Welcome to Ecuador! Your driver will meet you at the airport to transfer to your hotel in the centre of Quito. Check-in and spend the rest of the day recovering from your journey or exploring your surroundings!

Day 2: Fly to the Galapagos

Early in the morning, fly to the island of Baltra, where your adventure in the Galapagos begins. Upon arrival, transfer by ferry to Santa Cruz Island. 

Start today's itinerary with a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station where you can hear all about the island's conservation efforts and see giant tortoises! After, venture into the highlands to witness 'Los Gemelos', twin sinkholes surrounded by scalesia forest.

Day 3: Pristine beaches & a sunset dinner

Start your day at Tortuga Bay Beach, where you can unwind on the pristine white sands and observe the unique wildlife, including marine iguanas and a variety of birds.

After soaking in the natural beauty, head to Puerto Ayora, the vibrant heart of Santa Cruz Island. Here, you can explore local shops, pick up souvenirs and immerse yourself in the island's culture, before enjoying a delightful seaside dinner as the sun sets.

Day 4: Kayaking adventure

Begin your day with an optional morning kayaking adventure, paddling through the crystal-clear waters in search of sea turtles and rays.

Afterwards, unwind by sunbathing on the beautiful beach or taking a refreshing swim in the calm waters. As evening approaches, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the bay, where you can spot wildlife and take in the breathtaking sunset, capping off a perfect day of relaxation and exploration.

Day 5: A day on an uninhabited island

Today, you'll take a trip to one of the nearby uninhabited islands. Depending on which island you visit you can expect to find an abundance of wildlife; blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, land iguanas, and sea lions.

Explore the island's volcanic landscape by strapping on your hiking boots and hitting the trails.

Day 6: Journey to to Isla Isabela

Start your day with a ferry ride to Isla Isabela, the largest island in the Galápagos. Begin your exploration at Flamingo Lagoon, a picturesque spot where you can observe flamingos and other bird species in their natural habitat.

Continue to Concha de Perla, where you can snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, encountering a vibrant array of marine life. Afterwards, unwind on the serene beaches, soaking in the stunning ocean views.

Day 7: A day of hiking or relaxation

If you're feeling adventurous, spend the day hiking to the Sierra Negra Volcano, one of the largest volcanic craters in the world. This 20km trail is beautiful all year round with a lush green volcanic rim, black lava fields, and sulphur rocks, it's not one to be missed. 

If you'd prefer a day of relaxation, venture to the local beach or take the time to explore the town.

Day 8: Journey to to San Cristobal

Today, take a quick morning flight to San Cristobal. Once you arrive, venture to the Interpretation Center where you can learn about the natural and human history of the Galápagos.

After, take a short hike up Tijeretas Hill for stunning views and the opportunity to snorkel in the bay!

Day 9: The highlights of San Cristobal

Today, you have the opportunity to take a complete tour of San Cristobal where you'll visit the highlights including; Kicker Rock where you can snorkel and see a variety of marine life, Cerro Brujo, a white sand beach full of sea lions, and Punta Pitt, a site home to all three species of boobies (blue-footed, red-footed, and Nazca). 

Farewell to the Galapagos

Day 10: Farewell to the Galapagos

Before your departure, take one last stroll along the Malecón to enjoy the views! After, it's time to say goodbye to the Galapagos. Fly back to mainland Ecuador (Quito) before your main flight home!
